Game Preserve Civl War Champion's Cup
The 2nd annual Game Preserve Civil War is fast approaching. Last year the North took home the champion’s cup in our first ever North vs. South brawl. This year the southside seeks to defend their honor against the North.
Once again players will compete in games of Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40K, and Warmachine/Hordes to try and determine which side is fit to take home the cup this year.
Prepare for an intense, all-day event of wargaming this summer!

How to Sign Up:
Walk up to the register and say “I would like to sign up for this year’s Civil War!” You will be charged a sign-up fee of $10 and then your name and which side you wish to fight for will be added to our master list of sign ups.
Cool Stuff:
In addition to gaining entry in to the Civil War, your $10 also gets you a special Civil War t-shirt and a set of special Civil War six-sided dice.
Prizes:
The Game Preserve has a great deal of prize support at our disposal and we will be giving over $900 worth of product and prizes away at the end of the day.
The Games:
Warhammer 40k and Warhammer Fantasy games will be 2000 point games.
Rounds will be 150 minutes in length and there will be three rounds.
Special Characters are allowed.
Warmachine/Hordes:
4 rounds with Steamroller rules.
Escalation tourney:
1st round 25pts
2nd round 35pts
3rd round 50pts
4th round 75pts
Sames each round just with additional figures.
Scenario: Close Quarters
Destruction Scoring.
Colossals will be allowed.
This year, sign ups will be a little different than you might be used to. Rather than having paper sign up sheets in each of our stores, the sign up sheet for this year is a Google Doc shared between all our stores. This way signups are faster and there is less confusion all around.
